Good location to the beach, shops & restaurants..
One ice machine on the 5th floor worked, there were candy wrappers under the beds, the bathtub had a steady flow of water leaking from the faucet,I mean a gallon of water every 5 minutes, curtains were torn and had to be duct taped, balcony was loaded with broken concrete chips that has not been cleaned in months. I can go on but for the price I guess it was what can be expected.....
La proximité de la plage et de¨Port Everglades (departure to Bahamas). We did not tried it, but the pool looked really ok .
The restaurant just on the side for the breakfast is not really welcoming, and very expensive (cannot comment the food, we decided not to go there, but on the pier of the beach just behind, was just great!). Some big ventilator on the roof of next building made a lot of noise in the night.
I like how understanding the staff was about refunding me the cost of my room. I only stayed long enough to talk with the manger about my concerns. He was very understanding.
I didn't like the hotel at all.
Computer with internet access .... soooooooo sloooooooooowww ; a lot of noise by generator in hotel (ventillation ?)
There was no running water from the tap. After notifing the front desk twice nothing has been done to fix the problem. A resort fee needed to be paid of 14dollar per person per night to use a car park.. but we arrived by plane and didn't have a car with us. this didn't matter and we still had to pay for the fee
Hello, We would like to make complain against Lauderdale by the Sea Resort and Beach Club. We made a reservation of 8 rooms on 10th February under res number 251683775 and one more room under res. 484886470. Everything was paid in advance by credit card after confirmation from general manager Rick Lohr. When our clients arrived to the hotel on 19th February, they told them on the hotel desk that only 3 rooms are available and were unable accomodate them. Now our clients claim compensation against our company and they will no more use our company as a travel agency. We make a claim of 952,11 USD which were charged from our credit card plus a compensation of 10.000,- USD for the derogation our company Diamond travel name. Otherwise
The only thing was the location!
The hotel was very dirty, poor service. I was expecting something better for the price!
No Wifi, clima very loud
The Hotel is good for a short stay in the area. If the Hotel is booked out you will be transferred to a much nicer Hotel at the Beachfront
.The room was quiet and everything worked. i got a wakeup call on time.
The hotel needs a lot of work. the floors in the hallways are awful and gave me a feeling that the hotel was in bad disrepair. I booked it because of the shuttle to the airport but when i got to Fort lauderdale and called from the airport i was told that it was too late for the shuttle.it was just before midnight. that meant i had to pay for a rental car for an extra day.
I like the friendly staff and the free internet, when it worked. Rooms were clean and with a few upgrades it would actually be a worthy destination its on the cusp for the budget traveler if you can get the right price.
well the facilities are outdated and in need of some serious upgrades. There were no real views of the sea
Yes, there were some dirt and stings on the sofa and the bathroom had no ventlation, its seling was horrible because the paint was peeling off and there was no shampoo. The hotel also charged me $1 peer toll free number in the time they did not make me aware of that when I checked in. Also, the photos of the hotel in the boking website did not match reality!
shower did not work, tub broken, room not clean
They removed our towels on Saturday morning, we called the front desk, told us that they'll deliver them by 9pm, never did, when we called again on Sunday morning, told us that they don't have clean yet. Fortunately we had our own beach towels
The only positive thing we can touch on was the staff's speed in handling our transfer to another hotel the following morning. The beds, although stained and dirty, were comfortable as well.
Our entire experience was horrible to put it politely. Everything ranging from the attitude of the staff, condition of the room, false advertising of amenities, etc. was far from acceptable for a "beachside resort."
